Original company was created in 1948. Headquarters are in Paris rue du Temple and major activity is PVC high frequency welding, what gives first name to company : Plastitemple.

Plastitemple moves to Angers in 1956.

Jamet Group takes Plastitemple over in 1978. Company moves to Route de Briollay facility in 1984. Evelyne Jamet takes COO position in 1985. She used to be a phamacist, but likes design more than anything...

Step by step, she takes the company to baby business and leaves HF welding. She creates baby mattresses and famous bébébag ®.

In 1997 Candide Baby Group is created : new mattress facility, office in Spain created in 1998 and Canada in 1999. Tunisia factory is set at the same time. .

In 2001, Candide Baby Group moves to new facility and buys Entrechienetloup Co. Ltd.

In 2002, Candide HK Ltd Co. is created to develop sourcing in the far east.

Plastimat (mattrress) is created in 2004 and new facility is set up. Latitude Enfant brand and famous Grannimals are bought in 2006.

	In order to set up a nice surrounding for babies, Candide offers a large range of products such as textile fabrics and furniture for bedrooms, security produtcs, matresses and accessories) Every year, we renew the product offer regarding the high-paced moving trends.
